As our patient, you’ll benefit from our use of the latest dental technology. We use digital X-rays to reduce your radiation exposure while gaining detailed information about your mouth. We also use an intraoral camera to educate you on problem areas up close. Plus, we use an ultrasonic cleaner to remove stubborn plaque you can’t brush or floss away. All of this ensures your cleanings and exams are as comfortable and effective as possible.
If it’s your first appointment, you can expect your visit with us to take a little longer. We take our time to get to know you and your oral health history, and to discuss any existing dental concerns or goals.

There’s no reason to feel nervous about treatment. We have sedation options to reduce your anxiety. Plus, we will numb your mouth using a warm anesthetic. We use a special method called DentalVibe to administer anesthesia. It vibrates at the injection site, so you don’t feel a thing.

It’s really important because then we can keep an eye on how you’re actually doing. See if your gums are inflamed, see if decay is coming in early stages. Once you treat disease in the early stage, it’s a hell of a lot easier than waiting for it to become a problem. We go over all the cleaning and stuff like that again. We have a wonderful hygienist. I have been going to Dr Wolf Schwartz for over 20 years, having been introduced to him by a friend. I always get compliments on my smile and teeth (I have 4 caps on my upper teeth) and plan to eventually get further cosmetic dentistry with Dr Schwartz down the line Dr Schwartz is so talented, educated, professional and a perfectionist. I found Dr. Schwartz in the summer of 2020 when I had a terrible cavity. I honestly hadn’t been to a dentist in years, and the cavity had been growing for some time. I went to my insurance company website and put in my location. Dr. Schwartz came up and had positive reviews, so I made an appointment. Turned out the cavity was in one of my wisdom teeth, which I never had removed. Dr. Schwartz scheduled me for a cleaning with Susan, his very capable hygienist, before making another appointment to remove all my wisdom teeth. I’d heard people’s horror stories about the pain and discomfort associated with this kind of procedure, and was a little nervous about it. By the time he was done, I was slightly swollen, but other than that, minimal pain or discomfort. When I went back for my next cleaning, it was somewhat painful because I did a terrible job of cleaning between visits. After that cleaning, both Dr. Schwartz and Susan recommended a toothbrush for purchase on Amazon. I went for my bi-annual cleaning today, and wow, what a difference. The combination of their professionalism, kindness, and overall concern for their patients oral hygiene, I can honestly say I look forward to going to the dentist now. They are fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

After I switched to Dr. Schwartz and his careful checkup, Dr. Schwartz said it’s not necessary to have implant and a crown is good enough. It’s been a long, long time since I’ve been able to sit ina. Dentists chair for work needed. I’ve suffered from dental anxiety all my life. Eventually however I cracked a tooth so badly I had no choice – live with pain and infection or seek out someone who could help. I found Dr. Schwartz. Truth be told he double as a psychologist as good as he’s been with me. He took time, explained things, waited for me to be ready. If I was scared or uncomfortable he stopped and we just talked for a minute. My fear faded. Truth be told Dr Schwartz isn’t just a great dentist, he’s a great person and his staff is too. I couldn’t see going anywhere else and I hope if you have some of the same fears I did, that you’ll give him a chance to change your mind. He’s the best.

Dr. Schwartz did an amazing job on my wisdom teeth. They were impacted and I was told from other dentists that I would have to come in multiple times and that my recovery time would be lengthy. But Dr. Schwartz took them all out at once and a few days later, I was fully recovered and no pain! I didn’t even have to get sedated because he was so gentle with my mouth. He is my dentist for life and I cannot say enough wonderful things about his amazing bed side manner.

There’s no reason to wait to eat after your cleaning. However, your teeth and gums may be a little sensitive. So, you may want to avoid extremely hot, cold, or acidic food and beverages for a few hours. Be sure to ask your dentist if you have any concerns about what you can eat or drink after your appointment.
